The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan's campaign, #londonisopen was released to inform investors and tourists that London remains open despite Brexit and several terrorist attacks. In a response to extend the campaign I created the series of posters to be displayed at the Oxford Street bus shelters' digital screens.

My solution is inspired by British attitude towards the adversity. I acknowledged and appreciated Brits' brave approach during the II World War, when 'Keep Calm and Carry on' original posters were established. Further, the calm resistance led United Kingdom through IRA's attacks between 1970 and 2000 and is continued towards contemporary adversity. By consequently showing that British people are not threatened, they deprive terrorists of their most powerful weapon: fear. To express campaign's message I used the significant British colloquialism: the use of the word 'sorry'. British people seem to apologise a lot, even when they don't mean it. By using the phrase 'sorry, not sorry' I aim to reflect British society's resilient position on terrorism, now and ever since. The campaign addresses various aspects of the problem.
